With approximately 300,000 service members enrolling in post secondary courses annually, the Department of Defense (DoD) realizes the importance of education in a service member's career lifecycle.  In addition, DoD understands that lifelong learning is vital to the family as well.  While the mobile military lifestyle makes it more difficult to complete your degree, both the DoD and educational institutions nationwide have responded to this challenge by offering a variety of options to ensure that every service member and family member has the opportunity to achieve his or her educational goals.
